The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, the People & Culture Coordinator will play a key role in supporting Tribe's talent acquisition efforts during a period of growth.
This position is heavily focused on recruitment and will be responsible for supporting the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews, preparing offer documentation, and assisting with onboarding activities. The role will also provide administrative support to the broader People & Culture team and contribute to various employee experience initiatives.
This is a three-month contract opportunity created to support our continued growth and recruitment needs. Extension beyond the initial contract term may be considered based on business requirements.
What You'll Do
Talent Acquisition
- Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process for positions across Canada.
- Create and post job advertisements on various recruitment platforms.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, networking, and other recruitment channels.
- Review and screen resumes against position requirements.
- Conduct phone screens and initial candidate interviews.
- Coordinate interview scheduling with candidates and hiring managers.
- Prepare interview guides, evaluation forms, and recruitment documentation.
- Conduct reference checks and support pre-employment screening processes.
- Prepare offer letters and employment-related documentation.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records, candidate pipelines, and hiring trackers.
- Monitor recruitment activity and provide regular hiring updates.
- Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing efforts.
- Deliver a professional, positive, and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
People & Culture Support
- Assist with onboarding and new hire orientation activities.
- Prepare onboarding packages and employee documentation.
- Maintain employee files and update HR systems as required.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and company events.
- Assist with HR communications and administrative processes.
- Support People & Culture projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling employee information and sensitive matters.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Recent graduates and candidates early in their HR careers are encouraged to apply.
- CHRP designation or active pursuit of a CHRP designation is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service mindset and a passion for creating positive experiences for candidates and employees.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Relevant co-op, internship, volunteer, customer service, administration, recruitment, student leadership, or HR-related experience will be considered an asset.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Working Arrangement
This is an office-first position based in our North York, Toronto office.
The successful candidate will be expected to work from the office regularly to support recruitment activities, onboarding, collaboration with hiring managers, and employee engagement initiatives. Flexibility for hybrid work may be available based on operational requirements.
